Speaking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) on behalf of the group, Momin said Mediflux is launched to help pharmacy owners reduce manual errors, save time, and improve efficiency in managing their stores. He said that Mediflux came about as an idea to streamline pharmacy operations, especially for small businesses, when it comes to inventory and billing challenges. “Many pharmacy owners are struggling with the management of stock levels, expiries, and GST-compliant invoices. Mediflux addresses these problems using AI, which makes the whole process automated and hassle-free,” he said. The whole project, was backed by the energetic efforts of young professionals dedicated to work here, it’s being worked by Mehreen Aijaz, Basit Mohammad, Moumin Gulzar, Bilal Ahmad Shah, and Hazik Tariq with professional excellence for bringing this solution feasible to be available commercially to pharmaceutical organizations, he said. “What makes Mediflux stand out is its affordability. The software costs just Rs 3,500 annually and offers unlimited user access, which is more economical than traditional pharmacy software, charging per user, and hefty installation fees,” he added. “The software is cloud-based, so users can access their pharmacy operations from anywhere at any time. Additionally, its AI-driven features provide pharmacies with real-time inventory updates and low-stock alerts, reducing the chances of running out of essential medicines,” said Momin. “Mediflux is not just a business project, but it is a step towards modernizing the healthcare sector in Kashmir. We want local pharmacies to benefit from digital transformation and improve their services for the community,” added Momin—(KNO)
